There are a few different scenarios why the verification has not been successful. These reasons fall into two categories:
- Personal Details
- Bank Information
Under each category, we will share a few tips to help ensure you go through a successful verification process!
Personal Details
Personal details refers to all the personal information you add manually on your account.
- All information must match your government official ID
- Address on file must be the same address as your ID
- Nicknames will be rejected
Image Details
The photo ID must:
- Be non-expired
- Be in color
- Have the MRZ visible (if available).
- Have separate files for front and back of the ID document (only when providing an ID card or driver's license)
The document must meet the following file format and size requirements:
- Formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, or PDF (maximum 2 pages)
- Size: minimum 1 KB, maximum 25 MB
Bank Information
Bank information pertains to all the bank details you added for a successful payout!
- Bank account must be in your name
- Bank must be located in the US
- Bank must be able to accept ACH transactions
- Account and routing information must be entered correctly
Bank Documentation Details
The proof of bank account can be any of the following:
- Bank statements
- Screenshots of their online banking environment
- Official emails or letters from your bank
- Checks
The proof of bank account must have:
- The account holder name. This must match the legal name you set when creating an account holder.
- The account number.
- The date of issuance, which must be less than 12 months ago. This requirement applies to all types of documents except for RIBs or cheques.
- An indicator that the document was issued by a bank, such as the bank name, a bank logo or a bank-specific font.
The document must meet the following file format and size requirements:
- Formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, PDF.
- No maximum on the number of pages for PDF.
- Size: minimum 1 KB, maximum 4 MB
